Sempervivum (Hens and Chicks) in our Yard

Besides all of the beautiful flowers,  George and I also grow SEMPERVIVUM in our yard.  These little Hens and Chicks are gorgeous.  I have done several blogs showing off our semps.  Here's one of those posts if you want to see more.  Click HERE.    Hope you enjoy the photo today  taken on 6/29/13.

Hugs,

You chose an amazing picture, this one looks so perfectly structured and even is the only word I can think of! I mean the pattern is perfect, like a piece of architectural art.

Lovely! I adore those little things and used to have a strawberry pot filled with them. I may have to get some next year.

Nice....I've always thought those things were kind of unique. Don't they change colors or is there different colors of them. I've seen some that have lots of purple on them.

So beautiful! These flowers grow only in hill stations here.

They have always held my interest...I have just the 'plain' green ones. This one really makes me want to look for more. I did not realize there were different ones till I read in your other blog some time ago.

I think they are the cutest little plants ever; and for chicks, they are quiet too. :)

A fun name for this plant. I remember my mother having something similar years ago, but don't remember it by hens and chicks, in fact I can't remember its name at all but I think I know now. Thanks Betsy, this is a super photo! Wishing you a great weekend.
