An Arkansas Visit -February, 2016

Welcome to March!!!!!  George and I spent several fantastic days in Arkansas this past month.   While there,  we enjoyed just relaxing in our little cabin on the mountain.  We had great views from our back patio of the valley below and also of the gorgeous skies we saw that week.  We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets that we have ever seen. And it was fantastic seeing those views while enjoying a cup of coffee in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace in our cabin... Life was AWESOME (as it always is for us).

But--being at the cabin wasn't all that we did.... We did some hiking,  saw some waterfalls,  ate some great food,  AND even saw SNOW on Mt. Magazine (LOTS of snow)... For those of you who know me,  you must realize that I was in 7th heaven just seeing that gorgeous snow...

It was a great month for us---and a wonderful Arkansas trip!  The header at the top shows you a view from our backyard at the cabin---and this picture I feature today was one showing a beautiful late-afternoon sky with the sun beaming its sunbeams down on the valley and mountains.  Hope you enjoy both pictures today.

Sunset at Mt. Nebo, Arkansas 2/27/14

Sunset at Mt. Nebo, Arkansas
George and I love to visit 'our' little cabin on top of the mountain in Arkansas every winter.  It's one of our all-time favorite vacation places!  Every year,  we enjoy watching the sunrises and sunsets from that beautiful place.  We have to drive to Sunrise Point to see the sunrise --but can see the sunset from our cabin.  Here's one of the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed this year.

Our Little Cabin at Mt. Nebo, Arkansas

My header photo this month shows you our little cabin (looking toward the front of the cabin) which we visit annually in Mt. Nebo, Arkansas.  THIS photo shows the cabin looking toward the back of the cabin.  We have a back porch overlooking the valley below and a grill and picnic area out there.  We LOVE LOVE LOVE going to Mt. Nebo--and can't wait to go back SOON.
