Sky and Clouds as the sun sets in the West

George and I loved our sunset cruise on the Schooner Alliance on September 22, 2013, in Yorktown, Virginia. This is the first sailboat (tall ship) I have ever been on --so I was so excited!!! We had perfect weather for sailing --and it was wonderful being out there in the water with no engine sound!!!! We also had a perfect sky and sunset for this romantic cruise... The photo above is one of the last ones I took after the sun was going down. I love this photo showing all of the clouds and colors. Hope you enjoy it also. Fall Colors on Roanoke Mountain

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Virginia/Maryland/West Virginia... On that trip,  we saw some pretty Autumn Colors --even though it wasn't even October yet.  This photo was taken on the Roanoke Mountain Road --off of the Blue Ridge Parkway,  near Roanoke, VA  on 9/28/13.
