RED-HEADED WOODPECKER

Today,   I'm asking you to visit my Joyful Reflections blog --especially if you love birds.  I have about 14 adorable photos to share on that blog post.  Click HERE to see that post if you haven't seen it yet.  Today's photo is only ONE of the 14.   The Red-Headed Woodpeckers are beautiful birds,  especially this time of year.  I loved this shot---with him carrying that BIG peanut!!!!

Hugs,

Oh My GOSH!!!!! I have never seen anything like this!!! Your picture is amazing!! He has a whole peanut in his beak! His beak is so long and razor sharp, and he looks MAD! Perhaps he has spotted your camera...I have yet to see a real live one.

Wow! He is spectacular! I've never seen one like him before. He doesn't have the same body look of the ones we have around here. Fantastic picture!

The peanut looks like it should choke him! After reading your other post, I was impressed at some of the different things you put out for the birds. I thought it was just seed but it's a variety of things, isn't it?
