My Dream House

On December 2, 2013,  George and I took a backroads trip into the Smoky Mountains.  Along that snowy and dirt road which is WAY WAY back in the mountains (off of the beaten track),  we came upon one of the neatest mountain cabins I have ever seen.  Of course we stopped and had to take some photos... Afterall---it is my 'dream house'...  Wonder if they'll give it to me??????  WOW!

Buggy Ride at the Opryland Hotel Resort, Nashville, TN

We visited the Opryland Hotel Resort on December 19, 2013 in order to see their beautiful Christmas decorations.  When we walked outside the hotel,  we saw this horse-drawn buggy getting ready to take people for a ride.  We weren't able to take a ride this time --but that gives me a good excuse to go back next Christmas.  Wouldn't that be fun??????

My Backyard Birds

As you probably know,  I feed my Backyard Birds year 'round.  When the weather gets cold in winter,  the birds FLOCK to the feeders --and eat me out of house and home.   Here is a little collage of photos I put together recently.... Hope you enjoy it.
