We visited the Opryland Hotel Resort on December 19, 2013 in order to see their beautiful Christmas decorations. When we walked outside the hotel, we saw this horse-drawn buggy getting ready to take people for a ride. We weren't able to take a ride this time --but that gives me a good excuse to go back next Christmas. Wouldn't that be fun??????
Now---go to my other blog (Joyful Reflections) and check out more photos taken here at this hotel. Click

Pretty shot, I like the lights!
What a thrill
Now I would love to go for a ride in this one. Beautiful picture.
Have a lovely day!
That is so beautiful. They must spend lots of time and money to put up all those decorations.
Oh, I so want to do that!
what fun
quite the fairytale!
What a lovely photo, I would like to take that buggy ride also :)
Amazing displays.
So pretty!
Going for a ride sounds like a lot of fun! Pretty picture with all the lights.
how pretty, it looks magical
Spectacular shots, may i know your settings for the lights!
I'm loving how you've captured the lights so well in this photo; you are talented!!!

This is great photo, Betsy!
Magical and taking a ride around to see all the lights would be a memorable experience.
LOVE horse & buggy rides! That's a great idea to have there. We used to have someone come at Christmas to ride between two historic houses I worked at in Norfolk, then we served them gingerbread cookies and cider.
I love all the beautiful the lights. I always wanted to visit the Opryland Hotel. My boss spent several Christmas vacations there and would share her photos with us. One day we will get to visit ourselves.
We did not see the buggy when we were there. That would be so "magical" and romantic for sure!
Hi Betsy, That's a very classic horse-drawn buggy. And the lights are very spectacular. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.
That looks like fun! I was only there once and it was not at Christmas. I can't remember any buggies, but that was over 20 years ago.
Now THAT is a lot of lights! Very nice photo, especially at night.
