Fall Creek Falls State Park

George and I visited Fall Creek Falls State Park (on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee,  about an hour southwest of us) on 4/21/13.   Here is a good picture  of some wildflowers growing in the area.  This 25,000 acre park offers something for everyone: hiking, camping, lodge, cabins, biking, waterfalls, great restaurant, etc.

Hugs,

I LOVE your shoreline header!!!! You and I both have blue pictures today!! Yours is beautiful! You were RIGHT about the type of orchid, but my hint is, they are not natural blue.

Those wildflowers look beautiful. The park must look very different depending on the time of year.

A lovely mass of colour produced by a plant which I think looks like 'bugle'.

Such pretty flowers.
Our new yard has lots of roses in it. I'll have to get some advice on how to keep them going from you and George. : )

...simply gorgeous. One thing about this area so far south in USA, blue and purple flowers [for some reason] don't do well.

Dear Betsy, when I see your photographs and read your two blogs I know that I must find a walking club that visits around the state! Peace.
