PIKES PEAK, Colorado

On September 14, 2012,  George and I visited  beautiful PIKES PEAK in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I captured this photo on the road up the mountain.  Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Betsy, long time since I've visited. What a breath taking photo. Colorado is second to none for its scenery. I lived in Colorado very briefly a long, long time ago. Sometimes I long for drive or a hike in those mountains. Thanks for sharing the picture.

One of the pretties places we visited. However, was not too excited about climbing it tho. Enjoyed your new blog, but the other ones makes me feel like I am taking a trip with you.

That's gorgeous! I love the way the snowy mountains rise up behind the green mountains in front. It really shows the difference not only in elevation, but in temperature!
